This facility is run on a conveyor belt Meat Market mentality I went in for a hernia surgery I also have major heart issues November 23 2020 I had my hernia surgery I forgot to inform the nurses that I could not take Percocet do to Violent vomiting after surgery I was quickly rushed into the restroom where I had passed out they rushed me back to my bad quickly handed me a scription for Percocet still not in a coherent state of mine I did notice that it was for Percocet I quickly tried to tell the nurse I could not take the medication the nurse replied take half of the pill still confused I was rushed out of the recovery room and quickly put into my car my driver and I try to tell a totally different nurse that I could not take Percocet do to making me vomit she told me take it anyway I figured I would go to CVS in Tellico Plains and try to resolve my problem there I was told that I would have to go all the way back to the surgical center and get a new prescription I asked my driver if he would return me to the facility he told me he would not so I was basically forced to go through surgery without any medication whatsoever for pain for excruciating pain in the meantime nurse from doctor's office called me I told her what went on she told me that she would definitely let the doctor know went back to Doctor first visit after surgery he lied to me told me he did not know what went on even after the the Nurse insured me she did tell him I got zero empathy from the doctor all he wanted to do was get me out of the examing room also noticed the staff and especially the nurse was very rude off Standish three of the staff members were not wearing masks also had to request the doctor put on a mask again also had spoken to one of the patients out in the hallway that was waiting to see same doctor told me that his brother was being taken off of life support that day due to Corona I informed that they are not sympathetic when it comes to the coronavirus by not wearing masks we both thought it was quite disrespectful I truly believe it is all about money and absolutely not caring about their patients I've seen other reviews from other disgruntled patients and problems they are having with the same doctor's attitude I feel this doctor needs to be reprimanded and I don't understand how he can get away with things like this
