The surgery went ok (I just thought so), the staff was great, the hospital super clean, but there was just one problem. My throat was severely lacerated in three places during intubation and/or during scoping. If only someone had been curious when they saw blood on my face around my mouth, if only the blame game didn't happen as to who was at fault, if only patient safety and customer satisfaction was important to them...so with nothing more than a few apologies and thank you for the information and see ya, I came to the conclusion that if I valued my life, I would never be treated at the 5-Star hospital again! Just another patient, just another number, just another day...
