Just had an Endoscopy at Cedars Sinai. No one would say what the charges were going to be. Due to my having mild sleep apnea, was told it had to be done in the hospital as opposed to the outpatient surgery center. Dr. Said it was about a 10-15 minute procedure. Just received some if the charges. The hospital bill alone was a shade under $15,000. The Anesthesia bill was $1050. Does anyone think this is outright Fraud besides me. The bill was sent through the U.S. Mail. This type of outrageous medical billing must stop!
