This place is a joke when it comes to billing. My wife had a chest Xray back in March. We waited and waited for a bill. We finally called this place two different times to ask if there was a bill.......the first time we called, we were told they had to contact our doctor ( nurse practitioner) because of some incorrect coding. A few weeks later, my wife called back to see what, if anything, we owe. This time we were told that we owed nothing. We got no other bill after that until a few days ago we get a collections notice from them, saying out bills is seriously overdue and they feel they have given us enough time to pay it and they were turning it over to collections if not paid within the next ten days. I immediately went into my online bill payment site with my bank, and paid the bill ( $28.50) and then called them ( had to leave a message since it was after hours) I gave them my opinion of their billing procedures. We don't appreciate being told one thing and then get a collections notice a few weeks later. Then today I get a letter from them, signed by Grace basically poatting themselves on the chest by having an itemized day by day running of when they sent letters out, etc...... even highlighted. It showed that they received a letter from my insurance, and also took a mandatory writeoff on some of the charges ... back in April. On June 13 there is a post that account is past due. ( we never received any letters!!!! ( and I believe I was told we ow3es nothing BEFORE that date. Wow... all we can say is.... BEWARE!!! I wasn't in their facility directly... this is in regards to a chest X-ray done at my doctor's office that had to be read at their facility, so some of these ratings do not apply .
